I head up our European Leadership team for this global FMCG business. I can honestly say that we are more of a team now than we have ever been. Why? Because we have spent a considerable amount of time working on ourselves using Sharpstone Skinner and benefitting from their wisdom. They have taken us through a rigorous team development process. This has included their using the behavioural model Insights as part of our development. It has made us look at ourselves and be more conscious about the impact we have on each other and the company.
Sharpstone Skinner helped to realise that if we are to be successful, we have to understand each other well, who we all are and where we are coming from. There is no single recipe – you have to adapt to each individual within the team and allow them to make the best possible contribution.
This process means we have changed for the better. And the right kind of changes make a positive impact on business results. There is still work to be done and we will continue that work using Sharpstone Skinner and their talents as leadership and team development experts.
