Insights

"How can I learn to help my team work better together?"

"There's nowt so queer as folk." It may be a truism, but that doesn't mean it's not true.

One of the biggest obstacles to building successful teams is a lack of mutual understanding. We all know that people are different, but to work together, we need to know more than that. Precisely how they differ, why they differ, and what really makes them tick.

From a management or leadership perspective, or from the point of view of individual members of a team, the Insights programme can help us understand and celebrate those differences. It can also help us avoid trying to fit square pegs into round holes, and to give people the opportunity to be the best they possibly can be.

Based solidly on the work of Carl Jung, the Insights model identifies different types of work behaviour. It highlights participants' strengths, weaknesses, environmental preferences and value to the team. It also suggests development activities to help them achieve their full potential within an organisation. Insights workshops are information-filled, work-focussed and - most importantly - full of fun. People understand the theory and translate it into effective action in the workplace.

The programme has helped organisations as varied as
The Energizer Group and The British Red Cross.
